The Veterinary module is an integrated part of AgroSoft WinPig for the Sow, Weaning and Finishing units.
Medicine Management:
The Veterinary Module ensures that animals get treated with the right drug and the right amount and at the right time.
In the medicine database the Veterinarian can setup prescription for standard treatments. For each diagnosis the right drug and dose is entered and whether the treatment has has to be repeated on day 1, 2 or 3.
Medicine usage is tracked on the PDA with work lists remembering to re-medicate, and warning of Withdrawal time is given if a sow or a group of pigs is culled in the Withdrawal period.
Medicine Inventory:
The Veterinary module also keeps track of Medicine consumption and maintain an inventory on farm level.
Official Reporting:
The Veterinary module can be tailored to local rules and regulations and take care of all official reporting needed.
Pocket Pigs
The veterinary module can be handled on the PC directly in WinPig but the full benefit is expressed when combined with the Pocket Pig solution where the work list and the withdrawl warnings are available.
